Kalamazoo, MI 49007
Details of the event are:
CARES has the pleasure of showing several panels from the AIDS Quilt at . The panels represent a powerful reminder of the history of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. As we all know with the introduction of medications in the 1990’s the face of HIV has changed to one of living with the virus. As part of the celebration of life CARES is introducing its Living Quilt. This quilt, made by people who are HIV + and our allies in the fight for the cure, is meant to capitalize on living a full and complete life with HIV. The Living Quilt will be on permanent display at the CARES office following the Art Hop.
Leading up to the event we want to encourage as many people as possible to be tested at various sites through-out our 11 county service area.
