Tonight (Friday, December 4) is the culmination of our week-long recognition of World
AIDS Day. We’ll
be displaying a couple of panels from the AIDS Quilt as a remembrance of the those we’ve loved and lost to HIV/AIDS. In addition, we’ll be introducing our Living Quilt, made by those with HIV and those who love them, is to honor those who are living with the virus. The panels are as varied as the people who made them, but all symbolize living a full and complete life with HIV.
Join us at the First Congregational Church in downtown Kalamazoo (see the map) between
5 and 9 tonight to view the quilts, talk to CARES staff members, and have some munchies.
Hope to see you there.
