Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say Thank You to everyone who came out to the PRIDE festival this year. We had so much fun talking to everyone that visited our table and seeing all of the puppies! Good music, good food, great friends and great causes is what it’s all about! 
I saw a lot of people wearing Mr Friendly buttons and we were able to introduce the cause to quite a few new people who were excited to wear the buttons as well. Not only did I see a lot of buttons but many people wore the PROJECT (!) glasses!! Yay! The Plinko game was a huge success and the board was covered in signatures of players and supporters!! Susan’s hand-made jewelry was just beautiful she has donated 10% of her profits to CARES!! Thanks Susan The CARES booth received a lot people inquiring about volunteering! It’s inspiring to know that so many people are passionate about helping out with the community. I spoke with many people about what CARES does for the community and I think it was good that we got the word out just a little more, at least. Thanks to all of the staff and volunteers who went around talking to people about CARES during the festival and for helping to run the tables! It was a success and lots of fun along the way! PRIDE 2011 here we come!!

I just want to relay my support for the whole group that fills that building you are in. I have been involved with CARES for 17 years now, and I don’t see myself stopping any time soon. I have seen this group just explode and the continued broading of information and acceptance makes conversations so easy. This year was a dream of mine for my entire life and I so look forward to being available for as long as I can breathe…Love you guys.
